Author Biography

Otilia Greco was born in the Swiss Alps; educated in Switzerland, England, and Paris and is fluent in six languages. She graduated from Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK), where she developed a keen appreciation for art, history, and different cultures. Much of her inspiration she draws from Greece, where she worked as a travel guide. She studied the human condition and brings a sensitivity and insight to her stories, charged with optimism how dire the circumstances are. Otilia’s extensive life’s experience coupled with love of life inspires her to create characters with a powerful life force, the ability to change, and survive despite their flaws.

For over forty years, Otilia and her husband, an engineer, have worked internationally, travelling in most European countries, Middle East, Japan, South Africa, United States and Canada. They lived for several years in California, and reside in Switzerland now. They have two grown up daughters.
